Man Jailed for THC Wax, While in Court for Pot Charge

COLUMBUS - A Columbus man was jailed for THC wax, while he was awaiting sentencing in a separate marijuana case in Platte County. Efrain Trevino, 22, was pulled over on February 2nd, while driving a vehicle with no license plates on 1st Street, says an affidavit. Police say in the affidavit, that Trevino, and two passengers were inside the vehicle, where they found THC concentrated wax, marijuana edibles from Colorado, less than an ounce of marijuana, and marijuana paraphernalia. Trevino also had an active warrant in his name, for failing to appear in court on marijuana and open container infractions, and was later found guilty on both charges. Trevino is now facing a charge for felony possession of a controlled substance, as well as possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no proof of insurance, says court records.
