COLUMBUS - CPD say they are expecting a grand jury investigation after a man died from a knife wound in west Columbus on Friday.
Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says they responded to a report of a domestic dispute on the 1600 block of 40th Avenue on Friday at approximately 10:23 a.m.
Thalken says a 39-year-old Man at the location had a knife and was threatening to harm himself. The man then inflicted a fatal knife injury on himself, says Thalken.
Thalken says, Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the incident, and says they are expecting there to be a grand jury investigation into the case.
