Man Convicted of Selling Meth in David City to be Sentenced Next Week

DAVID CITY, Neb. - A man found guilty of selling meth in Butler County will learn if he heads to prison next week. 36-year-old Thomas Leffers was convicted of one count of dealing meth. He had a second delivery charge dropped in exchange for his plea. Records say, in two separate occasions Leffers, who has no listed address, sold 2.5 grams of meth to criminal informants in Butler County in April of last year. He is slated to be sentenced on February 6th in Butler County. The conviction carries a minimum of one year in prison, with a max of 50 years.
