COLUMBUS - A 27-year-old man accused of hiding meth in a baby formula pouch has been arrested.
According to Columbus police Irvin Alvarez was arrested November 1 for meth distribution, as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
CPD says that during an investigation in mid-September Alvarez sold meth to an informant, during an exchange at a local gas station.
Stopped by police authorities say they found a baby formula pouch containing a baggy hiding 10 grams of crystal meth, a digital scale, and a baggie of marijuana.
An affidavit says Alvarez voluntarily provided officers with a pipe, a burnt marijuana blunt, and a marijuana grinder.
Police say Alvarez admitted to selling meth, and smoking marijuana on a daily basis.
