DAVID CITY, Neb. - A Lincoln man took Butler County Sheriff deputies on a high-speed chase in a stolen car, that ended with the man being tased in a corn field, according to court documents.
31-year-old Bradley Allen is charged with felony theft and flight to avoid arrest, among other misdemeanors.
Records say in December of 2017, a deputy attempted to pull Allen over for speeding on MN Road. Allen refused to stop and instead sped his car up, reaching speeds of 120 MPH, according to documents.
Allen eventually crashed his car into a ditch after turning too quickly at the HWY 64/15 intersection, records say.
The deputy says Allen then sprinted into a corn field before he tripped. Documents say he continued to resist, forcing a deputy to use a taser to subdue him.
Allen's white sedan registered as stolen in Lancaster County, according to documents.
He will be in district court on February 6th.
