Loup City Takes Home Runner-Up Trophy In Class C2 Play Production; Fulton Awarded Outstanding Female Performer

NORFOLK— In their 19th time qualifying for the NSAA State Play Production Championships, the elusive state title will remain just of the reach of Loup City as they took home the runner up trophy for the third straight year.

Hartington-Newcastle was the 2019 C2 state champion, earning first-place votes from two judges and a second-place vote from the third. According to the NSAA, with this state title, Hartington-Newcastle has been a state champion in play production five of the last six years with one of those titles in Class C1.

While the team took home the runner up trophy, Loup City actress Coleen Fulton had the top spot for female performers as she was awarded Outstanding Female Performer.
