Library to Close in November; Open New Wing in December

NORFOLK - Norfolk's library will be shutting its doors for three weeks because of construction. Library Director Jessica Chamberlain says the Norfolk Public Library will close from November 11th through December 1st, so that over 75,000 items can be moved and renovation of the existing building can occur. When the library reopens in December, Chamberlain says it will do so in the newly constructed portion of the building on the north side. The closing does mean patrons will get to stock up on items from the library. Chamberlain says any item checked out the week before the 11th won't be due back until the library opens back up on the 1st.
