LBPHD: Seven new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the nine counties of Loup Basin’s district since Monday.
The cases were reported from:
Greeley (3) – community spread, contact with known positive
Howard (2) – community spread, a contact with known positive
Sherman (1) – community spread
Garfield (1) – community spread
All known close contacts have been asked to quarantine.
LBPHD has reported that one case that was previously reported to Howard County has been corrected to Greeley County
Twenty-four recoveries have also been reported in Howard (12), Greeley (4), Sherman (3), Valley (3), Custer (1), and Loup (1) counties

The dial has increased this week and now sits in the orange. The increase is attributed to an increase in the weekly percent positivity of tests and the number of cases being classified as community spread. Other factors that figure into the risk dial calculation include healthcare capacity, testing availability, and the ability to conduct contact tracing efficiently.
