LBPHD: Forty-eight new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the nine counties of Loup Basin’s district since Wednesday.
The cases were reported from:
Custer (16) – community spread (11), contact with positive (4), travel related (1)
Garfield (13) – community spread (10), contact with positive (3)
Howard (9)- community spread (5), contact with positive (4)
Valley (6)- community spread (3), contact with positive (3)
Greeley (3)- community spread (3)
Sherman (1)- contact with positive (1)
All known close contacts have been asked to quarantine.
LBPHD is saddened to report two additional COVID-19 related deaths in the district. The new deaths are in Custer and Howard counties. LBPHD extends its deepest condolences to these families during this time.
Twenty-one additional recoveries have also been reported.
