LBPHD COVID-19 Update: 45 New Cases, 38 Recoveries, 113 Active Cases

LBPHD: Forty five new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the nine counties of Loup Basin’s district since Friday.

The cases were reported from:
Custer (23) – community spread (9), contact with a positive (10), travel (1), unknown due to inability to complete investigation (3)
Valley (9) – contact with a positive (9)
Howard (6)- community spread (3), contact with a positive (2), travel (1)
Sherman (2)- community spread (2)
Garfield (2)-
community spread (1), unknown due to inability to complete investigation (1)
Loup (2)- contact with a positive (1), travel (1)
Greeley (1)-
contact with a positive (1)

All known close contacts have been asked to quarantine.

Thirty eight additional recoveries have also been reported.

LBPHD has also reported its 14th COVID-19 related death, an individual with underlying health conditions from Custer County.
