LBPHD: Twenty-two new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the nine counties of Loup Basin’s district since Wednesday.
The cases were reported from:
Custer (12) – community spread (4), contact with known positive (7), travel outside of the state (1)
Howard (4) – community spread (3), contact with known positive (1)
Garfield (3)- contact with known positive (3)
Valley (1)- community spread (1)
Blaine (1)- community spread (1)
Sherman (1)- community spread (1)
All known close contacts have been asked to quarantine.
Twenty-one new recoveries have also been reported.
LBPHD is also reporting two additional deaths related to COVID-19. The deaths were both individuals in their 70s, one from Valley County and one from Sherman County.
