LBPHD Risk Dial

The dial has increased this week further into the orange. The weekly percent positivity of tests increased this week and the number of cases being classified as community spread also increased. There is increased concern with hospital capacity regionally and throughout the state.

Hospitals are having difficulty transferring to larger hospitals that offer advanced care. Rapid test capacity is extremely limited, TestNebraska continued to have capacity. Other factors that figure into the risk dial calculation include healthcare capacity, and the ability to conduct contact tracing efficiently.
