Latest Forecast Calls for 1 to 6 Inches of Snow

COLUMBUS - The National Weather Service is calling for areas of Nebraska to see up to 6 inches of snow this week. Some seasonly warm temperatures appear like they will be giving way to several inches of snow starting Wednesday. The NWS says between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning snowfall will range between a minimum of 1 inch in the far southeast corner of the state, to 6 inches in northeast Nebraska. Additionally northwest winds are predicted at 15-25 miles per hour, with higher gusts possible. See the predicted totals as of Monday, below. The National Weather Service says the forecasted amounts will change by the time the snow storm is predicted to hit on Wednesday.
