Knights of Columbus Collecting Fencing Materials for Southern Neb. Fire Victims

BROKEN BOW–The Knights of Columbus 2388 Broken Bow Council is providing a way to help farmers and ranchers who lost large amounts of fencing in southern Nebraska due to the devastating grass fires.

Howard Gaffney and Paul Holland were guests on the KCNI/KBBN “The Get Up and Go” Breakfast Show Thursday, April 28 to talk about need for the project. Gaffney provided an update Monday, May 2 and indicated progress is being made in collecting new and used wire and posts that will be transferred to drop points near Cambridge or Arapahoe.
