Kids Bring In The New Year With A Pop At The Broken Bow Public Library

Snow could not stop the Broken Bow Public Library from kicking off the New Year with an early celebration on Tuesday, December 31 at noon. Area kids made their way to the library to participate in crafts, games, and other activities. As time began to wind down to midday, the kids counted down and celebrated with bubble wrap!

Feet pounded the floor as popping sounds rang across the building along with the giggles and squeals of delight from those in attendance as the kids celebrated the end of another year.

To end the celebration, the kids lined up and tried to break open a piñata and get to the candy inside. Approximately twenty kids had a chance at the smiling piñata before one was able to break the outside and spill the tasty treats across the floor.

With the end of 2019, the Broken Bow Public Library will reload with plenty of events planned in 2020. For more information on library events, visit www.brokenbowlibrary.net or call (308) 872-2927.
