Juvenile Uninjured In Mid-December Rollover Crash; Vehicle Totaled

A Saturday, December 18 rollover crash resulted in no injuries, but the vehicle that was driven was totaled. According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office accident report, at approximately 5:30 PM a juvenile driver was traveling eastbound on Drive 801, which is located approximately two miles north of Broken Bow, in a 2003 silver Dodge Durango.

The report states the driver lost control of the vehicle to the right side of the road. The Durango made contact with a small embankment and rolled through a barbwire fence. It then rolled one more time before coming to rest on its roof.

The juvenile driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and suffered no apparent injuries in the crash. Airbags did not deploy in the vehicle.

The report lists the vehicle as totaled. Damage to the fence was estimated at around $300. The juvenile did not have a driver’s license.
