Juvenile Driver Taken To Hospital Following Rollover Crash In Broken Bow On Tuesday

More information has been released following the single-vehicle accident that sent the driver of the vehicle to the hospital.

According to the Broken Bow Police Department, at approximately 8:45 PM on Tuesday, January 25, a juvenile driver was traveling east on South E Street when the red Ford Ranger they were driving left the roadway near Farritor Auto Parts. The vehicle reentered the roadway, overcorrected, and ran off the roadway to the right where it rolled and came to rest on its passenger side facing west in the South 15th Ave intersection.

The driver was transported to Melham Medical Center by Broken Bow EMS. It was unknown as to why the Ranger left the roadway initially.

Airbags did not deploy in the vehicle and it is unknown if the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The vehicle was towed by a private party.

Broken Bow Fire and Rescue and the Broken Bow Police Department responded to the accident.
