Jeep for a Cure Planned for April in Genoa

GENOA, Neb. - After a successful run last year, organizers are looking to expand 'Jeep for a Cure' in 2018. The event in Genoa, where residents ride around the area in Jeeps in support of a cause, is planned for April 7th. This year, according to organizer Katie Swantek, money will go to support a 20-year-old Fullerton man, who has stage 3 testicular cancer. Last year, 86 Jeeps came to Genoa for the event and Swantek hopes this year 100 Jeeps participate. Jeeps will begin to arrive at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa at noon, Jeeps will take-off at 1:30 p.m.
