STANTON - A Stanton man is recovering after his tractor rolled over just as snow began to fall Friday evening.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says 73-year old Gerald Asplin was injured when his tractor rolled over.
A passer-by reported the accident at about 9:15 p.m. Friday. Sheriff Unger says Asplin was southbound on 566th Avenue north of Stanton when his tractor lost control and rolled on top of him, pinning him down.
Asplin was extricated by the jaws of life and taken to Faith Regional Health Services with unspecified injuries.
