Indians prepare for 2017 football season

The Broken Bow football team will kickoff its season next Friday (8/25) at Ord as they take on the Chanticleers. The Indians will play 4 of their first 5 games on the road. Broken Bow will be at Chase County on Sept. 1, at Grand Island Central Catholic on Sept. 15, and at Minden on Sept. 22 with their home opener against Chadron scheduled for Sept. 8. While the first half of the schedule is road heavy, the Indians will get to play 3 of their final 4 games at home. Broken Bow will host Gothenburg on Sept. 29, Ogallala on Oct. 6, and Kearney Catholic on Oct. 20 with a road game against Cozad scheduled for Oct. 13. All Broken Bow football games will be broadcast on KCNI radio which will now include 96.3 FM as well as 1280 AM and on the internet at kcni1280.com. Fans will have the opportunity to see the Broken Bow football team on the field Friday night (8/18) as they host their annual scrimmage at Mark Russell Field at 7pm.
