CUSTER COUNTY— According to the Custer County Sheriff, a Broken Bow man was found dead on the bridge north of Gates on the Gates Road around 6 AM Wednesday, September 18. The incident is being investigated as a suicide.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the investigation. An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the cause of death.
