Hwy 30 Closed Near Central City, Sheriff’s Office Hearing Complaints

CENTRAL CITY - The Merrick County Sheriff's Office says they have received several complaints about the closure of Highway 30 at the train tracks on the east side of Central City. The highway is currently closed for repairs being done to the train tracks, and will be closed until May 18th, according to details released from the State. The sheriff's office says they have received several complaints about the signage leading to the construction, and says they have voiced these concerns with the state department. The sheriff's office says the department of transportation says the current signage is in compliance with the pre-approved signage plan.
