Hunters for Youth—Loup Valley Chapter Banquet this Saturday 8/22

BROKEN BOW—Hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors is what the nonprofit organization Hunters For Youth (HFY) has been aiming to do since it was established in 2015.

Hunters for Youth is dedicated to promoting positive experiences in nature and providing area youth with friendly, stable mentoring relationships. They offer opportunities to hunt, fish, target shoot, practice archery, go on nature walks, and camp. HFY educates kids about respect for landowners, hunter safety, appropriate equipment to use, and much more.

The Hunters for Youth Loup Valley Chapter serves the Custer County community and surrounding areas and is hosting its first annual banquet this Saturday, August 22 at the One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow.

Bring the whole family for a fun night filled with games, prizes, live, and silent auctions. Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or ahead of time by calling Danal Wilikie at 308-870-0942 or messaging the Facebook page.
