Hunter Education Course Will Be Held At Broken Bow Middle School

BROKEN BOW—With hunting season just around the corner, make sure to get your kids in to the hunter education program. The courses will be held at the Broken Bow Middle School, room 112 on Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24, 4:00 P.M. to 6 P.M. each day.

Successful completion of a Firearm Hunter Education course is required for all Nebraska hunters age 12 through 29 who hunt any species with a firearm or air gun.

To become certified and receive your Hunter Education Card, the course must be completed in its entirety. Registration is currently open with a limited number of seats available; make sure you sign up before all of the seats are taken.

Registration must be completed through the Nebraska Game and Parks website, outdoornebraska.gov/huntereducation. Additional information regarding hunting regulations and laws can also be found on the Game and Parks website outdoornebraska.gov.
