House Fire Left $290,000 in Damage

COLUMBUS - A Columbus home suffered hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage after a fire on Tuesday. Columbus Fire Officials say the damage to the home was estimated at $290,000. Crews were called to the fire at approximately 4:46 p.m. and remained on scene for roughly 2 hours and 50 minutes. Several trucks were dispatched to the location, and the State Fire Marshall's Office was on scene to investigate the fire, says local officials.
