Hospital Visit Leads to 1st Degree Assault Charge

COLUMBUS - Butler County authorities say they arrested a man for 1st degree assault, after a report from a local hospital. Butler County Sheriff Marcus Siebken says a 1st degree assault was reported to the Columbus Community Hospital on Sunday. Little information is currently available, but the assault was said to have taken place earlier that evening, and authorities say they arrested a male subject. This is a developing story.
