BROKEN BOW–Broken Bow graduate and author Rob Kugler is back in town for a welcome home celebration and book signing. Kugler’s book A Dog Named Beautiful tells the story of a marine, a dog, and the long road trip home following Kugler’s experience in the military and his dog’s cancer diagnosis.

The book signing will take place tonight (Wednesday, May 29) at 7 p.m., at the Broken Bow Public Library (626 S D St, Broken Bow, NE 68822).

Library Director Joan Birnie said Kugler tells an inspirational story and it might be a good idea to have a box of Kleenex nearby.

“He’s had a lot of things he’s dealt with in his life including losing a brother during the fight in the Middle East,” Birnie continued. “I think it’s a very personal story full of lots of inspiration, also lots of hope, lots of tears, some sadness, but beautifully told and well written.”

Join the Broken Bow Library in hosting Rob Kugler for a presentation and book signing of A Dog Named Beautiful at 7 o’clock tonight at the Broken Bow Library.

The event is sponsored by the Broken Bow Library Foundation. Books will be available to purchase and have signed.
