Highways Deteriorate as System Passes Through

COLUMBUS - Highway conditions in the area have deteriorated throughout the morning as a snow system moves through the state. Nance and Boone Counties have seen the biggest decrease in road conditions, with a majority of the highways surrounding Albion, Belgrade, St. Edward, Genoa, Fullerton and Cedar Rapids, completely covered in snow, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. The remainder of the area highways north of Interstate 80 are partially covered in snow, with some areas only featuring one clear lane of traffic. See more in the map and pictures from NDOT below.
