Hickman Man Killed in Southern Lancaster County Accident

BEATRICE – A single vehicle accident in southern Lancaster County has taken the life of a Hickman man. Lancaster County Sheriff’s investigators say 22-year-old Benjamin Krueger was found dead at the scene of a rollover accident, near Nebraska Highway 43 and South 162^nd Road. Authorities say the 1998 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Krueger was southbound on Highway 43, when it left the roadway and went airborne.  The vehicle rolled several times. Authorities say Krueger was not wearing a seatbelt.   Lancaster County deputies and the Firth Rural Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident, at 7:03 this morning.  The accident happened near Bennet.
