Genoa Woman Jailed for Meth, After Damaging Property

COLUMBUS - A woman is facing meth charges, after reports that she was destroying property at a Genoa residence. Angela Stines, 41, was arrested on January 12th, after a Genoa resident said Stines was high on meth and breaking items inside their home, says an arrest affidavit. Stines had been staying at the residence for an unspecified period of time, and a deputy found two smoking pipes and a straw, all containing meth residue with her belongings. Stines was arrested and is charged with felony possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia, says court records. Stines had a bench warrant in Platte County, at the time of her arrest, for a misdemeanor case dating back to 2013, says court records. Stines is due in Nance County Court on Monday for a felony first appearance, according to court records.
