Gene Horst of Halsey, Nebraska will celebrate 100 years surrounded by family and friends.
An Old Fashioned Birthday Celebration is planned for Gene on Saturday, September 16th. Gene is celebrating a Century on Wednesday, September 20th.
The big party will be thrown at the Halsey Park Community Building, with a potluck at noon, old fashioned games at 1:30 pm, followed by an old fashioned watermelon feed. The family is requesting no gifts, only a smile & a handshake.
In case of inclement weather, the party will be moved to the 4-H Camp Lodge.
