Loup Basin Public Health Department is now offering flu shots. Flu shots are available Monday-Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at their office (934 I Street, Burwell.) You can contact the Health Department at 308-346-5795 to schedule your appointment; walk-ins are welcomed but appointments are preferred. LBPHD will also be holding clinics at local schools and places of employment throughout the district in the months of September and October.
Symptoms of influenza are different from a cold, flu-like symptoms include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Muscle or body aches
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Some may experience vomiting and diarrhea.
