FBLA Burger Bash Thursday, July 15, 5-7:30 PM

BROKEN BOW— The Broken Bow Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will be hosting a burger bash at Grocery Kart on Thursday, July 15 from 5-7:30 PM. Proceeds from the event will be used to pay for expenses to attend the National FBLA Fall Leadership Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

With last year’s event being held online, this will be the first time in over a year students from across the Midwest will be able to meet in person. On the GetUp and Go Breakfast Show, Broken Bow Senior Carsten Fox said FBLA is a great place to connect with people from all over

“You can meet a lot of people through FBLA. We have 32 members and when you go to the conferences there are thousands of people and it really gets you connected,” said Carsten.

Junior Lainey Palmer and Sophomore Anna Chancellor echoed his statement and also added that FBLA also gives students a chance to view the world from the business side.

“It gives you a lot of opportunities into the business side of the world and a lot of experiences,” said Anna.

Burgers, chips, and a drink will be $5 at the Burger Bash in front of Grocery Kart, but anyone who attends is welcome to donate additional funds towards the trip if they would like.
