Falls City Woman Charged With Using Explosive For Felony

FALLS CITY  - The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Falls City woman wanted in connection with a Sept. 18 explosion at the Spirit Shoppe on Harlan Street. Deputies arrested 39-year-old April  Feighner in Rulo. She is suspected of placing an explosive near an ice machine that broke a window at the business and toppled merchandise inside. Court records say Feighner discussed the explosion with inmates at the Richardson County jail and told a police investigator that the Spirit Shoppe was done because Police Chief Duane Armbruster harasses people. The sheriff's office also reports the Thursday arrest of 25-year-old Tamara Purcell for suspicion of assault on an officer, obstructing government operations and resisting and officer.
