The Fall Hunting Season is quickly approaching and Nebraska hunters may begin purchasing Fall Turkey Permits in the near future. Fall Turkey Permits are expected to go on sale from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission on August 14th.
The permits allow a hunter to harvest two turkeys of either sex with a shotgun or archery equipment per permit with each hunter allowed to purchase two permits. The permits are valid throughout the state of Nebraska.
Permits can be purchased at OutdoorNebraska.org and at Nebraska Game and Parks permitting offices. Fall Turkey Hunting is a good family activity as well, as there is no minimum age requirement for youth hunters.
