Evacuations Easing, Questions Remain

Omaha, NE.—Some numbers are coming in on the relentless Flood of 2019.

According to state officials, 29 counties were forced to declare mandatory or voluntary evacuations.

Of those 29, parts of nine counties are still not allowing folks back into their homes as of late Monday.

Those nine counties are Boyd, Dodge, Knox, Nance, Nemaha, Rock, Saline, Sarpy and Wayne.

The towns of Columbus and St. Edwards are now able to let some people back in.

In Douglas County alone, 180 miles of roads have been impacted by the flood.
