Eliot Bostar announces bid for Lincoln legislative seat

LINCOLN – (Martha Stoddard/Omaha World-Herald News Service) The executive director of the Nebraska Conservation Voters and Conservation Nebraska wants to enter the political realm.

Eliot Bostar has announced plans to seek the District 29 seat now held by State Senator Kate Bolz. Bolz is barred from running again due to term limits.

Bostar is a registered Democrat who grew up in New York but spent summers on the family farm near Bradshaw. He says those family ties eventually led him to settle in Nebraska.
