OTOE COUNTY - A 30-year-old Union man escaped injury Tuesday after his pickup hit a train.
The truck hit the train of empty tank cars on B Road, near 58th Road, and was drug and rolled for 150 feet.
The driver of the truck was able to exit the vehicle on his own. He was alert and able to talk to rescue crews when they arrived. He didn't require hospitalization.
