NEBRASKA CITY – A dense fog advisory – ranging from central to eastern Nebraska – is in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday. Counties in southwest Iowa, northwest Missouri and eastern Kansas are also included.
Patchy fog creating areas of low visibility – a quarter mile or less at times – could impact travel. Additionally, fog may freeze on elevated surfaces or roads and sidewalks.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving: slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
