DAVID CITY - Court records say a David City teen is facing a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance.
Jayden Novacek, 19, is charged with possessing the controlled substance THC, as well as an infraction for possessing less than an ounce a marijuana, says court records. A criminal filing says the charges stem from an arrest on January 1st of this year.
Novacek was sentenced to a couple days in jail in Platte County in 2017 for shoplifting an minor in possession, says court records.
Novacek is due in Butler County Court on Thursday.
