Custer County Register of Deeds Office Has Positive COVID-19 Case

BROKEN BOW–According to the office of the Custer County Register of Deeds (431 S 10TH AVE), there is a positive case of covid-19 within the office. Register of Deeds Christie Trumbull stated in a press release, “We are working closely with the Loup Basin Health Department to make sure our office can remain open and keep everyone safe. With this in mind we do have someone coming in to keep the office open so title companies can do their searching.”

Trumbull is asking that only legal searches be done at this time. The office will reopen for normal business on Monday November 16.

Staff members will be working as diligently as they can to get all documents filed and they ask for patience and understanding as documents will not be returned for a week after they have been filed.
