Custer County Museum and Historical Society to Host Historical Tour

The Custer County Museum and Historical Society will be hosting an historical tour.  The event will be presented in two parts with a slide presentation this evening (May 12) at the Custer County Museum from 6-9 p.m.  and then a bus tour on Saturday (May 14) from 9-4.  The cost for the event is $40 which includes lunch during the bus tour on Saturday.  Tammy Hendrickson visited with KCNI/KBBN radio about the event.

The tour will be in the areas that are near the path from Broken Bow to areas west of Merna, including Cliff and Pleasant Hill, on to Arnold then north to the old site of Climax on the way to Dunning and finishing with the Anselmo areas along highway 2.  Hendrickson encourages people to attend the slide presentation which will help set the stage for the bus tour on Saturday.

Funds raised will go to the Custer County Historical Society.  To reserve a space for the event contact 308-872-2203.
