Custer County 4-H Activities Scholarship Recipients Announced

BaiLee McMillan, Milburn; Mattie Bumgarner, Anselmo; Kaitlyn Pflaster, Oconto; and Hannah Pearson, Thedford were recipients of $500 scholarships awarded by the Custer County 4-H Activities Scholarships. They will each be awarded a $500 scholarship at the time they each enter their second semester of post-secondary education.

Atlynn Witthuhn, Callaway, is the recipient of the $250 scholarship awarded by the Custer County 4-H Activities. Witthuhn will be awarded a $250 scholarship at the time she enters her second semester of post-secondary education.

BaiLee McMillan is the daughter of Tom and Lisa McMillan of Milburn. BaiLee will be attending the University of Nebraska–Lincoln this fall, majoring in Veterinary Science. BaiLee is a 2019 graduate of the Anselmo-Merna High School.

Mattie Bumgarner is the daughter of Darrick and Holly Bumgarner of Anselmo. Mattie will be attending the University of Nebraska–Kearney this fall, majoring in Elementary Education. Mattie is a 2019 graduate of the Anselmo-Merna High School.

Kaitlyn Pflaster is the daughter of Tim and Lori Pflaster of Oconto. Kaitlyn will be attending the University of Nebraska–Kearney this fall, majoring in Special Education. Kaitlyn is a 2019 graduate of the Callaway High School.

Hannah Pearson is the daughter of Wade and Michelle Pearson of Thedford. Hannah will be attending South Dakota State or Texas Tech this fall, majoring in Agricultural Communications. Hannah is a 2019 graduate of the Thedford High School.

Atlynn Witthuhn is the daughter of Jeff and Nicole Witthuhn of Callaway. Atlynn will be attending NCTA or Northeast Community College this fall, majoring in Diversified Agriculture. Atlynn is a 2019 graduate of the Callaway High School.
