Custer County 4-H Activities Scholarship Recipients Announced

Emmalee Bartak, Merna; Brandi Coons, Callaway; Emily Jonas, Ansley; and Kacee Dvorak, Arnold are recipients of $500 scholarships awarded by the Custer County 4-H Activities Scholarships. They will each be awarded a $500 scholarship at the time they each enter their second semester of post-secondary education. 

Emmalee Bartak is the daughter of Brian and Lizzie Bartak of Merna. Emmalee will be attending Midland University in Fremont this fall, majoring in Criminal Justice. 

Brandi Coons is the daughter of Randy and Tammy Coons of Callaway. Brandi will be attending the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis this fall, majoring in Equine Industry Management. 

Emily Jonas is the daughter of Todd and Kim Jonas of Ansley. Emily will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall, majoring in Animal Science.  

Kacee Dvorak is the daughter of Rich and Kristi Dvorak of Arnold. At the time of application, Kacee was undecided on the college she will be attending. She will be majoring in Psychology.
