Most Hall of Fames make their inductees wait until their career is over before gaining entry into their exclusive clubs. For John Cook, the current head volleyball coach at the University of Nebraska, the American Volleyball Coaches Association is not making him wait.
The 2017 induction class into the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame class includes the man who has led the Huskers to tremendous success since taking over in 2000. He has led the program to 3 national championships, and coached the Huskers to 499 wins.
His resumé for induction is never-ending. He has coached 49 AVCA All-American players and continues to steer the Huskers to national prominence.
