Weather permitting, work will begin April 11 on N-2, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Paulsen, Inc., of Cozad, Nebraska is the prime contractor. Work includes new asphalt driving surfaces, median replacement at the junction with N-92, luminaire replacement, and culvert clean-out. Traffic will be maintained with a pilot car and flaggers. An 11-foot restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is August 2022.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, buckle up, and to put phones down.
