Comstock Festival Dates Set For 2019; Passes Available Now!

COMSTOCK— Dates have been set for the 2019 Comstock Windmill Festival, June 13-14-15, 2019. Due to popular demand, the festival will start on Thursday and run through Saturday night. No other major changes have been planned. This year’s festival will be at the same original location where fans have seen over 25 Country Music Award winners, which began in 2000 with Brad Paisley as the headliner.

Comstock is the only concert site in the United States where you can see the sun set on 50 windmills, and it continues to be one of the Country’s only major festival or concert sites that does not sell VIP seating. Purchasing any single-day or three-day ticket affords the customer any lawn chair spot they choose, in a canyon that allows for a good view and great sound from anywhere in the venue. Chris LeDoux once said, “I love this place, Comstock, you treat everybody the same.”

Eight national performers will be announced within the next few weeks. Beer tent bands will be announced at a later date. A blend of older, up and coming, and red dirt bands will continue the Comstock tradition of providing a diverse set of acts. Promoter Henry Nuxoll says, “We try to catch the stars on their rise up in country music, and of course we like to invite back our old favorites. Several of our past performers are now million-dollar acts.”

Trotter Productions will again be the major presenting sponsor. Terina Trotter states that, “Comstock needs to keep going. When four gals from California fly to Denver and rent a camper to come to Comstock, that is economic development. Especially when they are ready to come back again.” Retail businesses from over 100 miles away have benefited from the Windmill Festival.

Single day tickets and three-day passes are available as of Dec 15th. Campsites, electrical and primitive can also be reserved by logging on to http://www.outhousetickets.com.
