The 2019 Comstock 4th of July Celebration will kick things off tomorrow with the annual parade with the theme “Superheroes.” The parade begin at 10:30 AM with registration at 9:30 AM. All parade entries must be registered by 9:30 AM to be eligible for prizes.
Cash prizes will be given in each division for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. There will also be an overall grand prize.
Events include:
Sand Volleyball tournament in the city park at 8:00 AM
FMF Trail Challenge-Comstock with Nick Ownes Parade at 10:30 AM
BBQ at the Community hall after the parade
Pie & ice cream social at the Den
Horseshoe tournament, races, egg toss & turtle races 1:30 PM
Big Iron tug of war 3(:30 PM check-in); contact Henry Nuxoll (308) 370-1023
Snack shack opens 5:00 PM
Softball games at 7:00 PM
Fireworks show put on by the volunteer firefighters
