BROKEN BOW–Volunteers from the Berean Bible Church in Broken Bow (2419 Memorial Dr, Broken Bow, NE 68822) are inviting the public to help be the hands and feet of Jesus by hosting a community wide FREE garage sale.
The free event will take place on Friday, November 20 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bundle day is Thursday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Drop off donation items at the church or contact Judy Schweitzer at 308-870-7340, or call 308-870-2614, 308-750-0686, or 308-872-5720.
“The bundle day is where everybody brings in their bundles of blessings. Something they’ve used that it’s been a blessing in their life and they are no longer able to use it. Either it’s too small now, or they decided to decorate different, whatever it is if they just no longer use it. But it’s been a blessing, it’s in good condition, and it’s clean!” Judy Schweitzer told KCNI/KBBN.
A similar event was held years ago in conjunction with a Food Bank for the Heartland event and Schweitzer said it went over well. Members of the Berean Bible Church such as Schweitzer and Jackie Linville said they wanted to bring the garage sale back to help members of the community, especially in the year of COVID-19.
Items will be distanced, sanitizer will be available, and masks are required. Patrons of the free garage sale can also enjoy coffee, tea, and cookies while they “shop.” Everyone is required to bring their own mask and their own box/bags for items they will take home.

I know, maybe I can find a Blouse
That might be quite a treat!
