Columbus Woman Slaps Man, Gets Arrested for Meth

COLUMBUS - A Columbus woman was arrested for meth, after police responded to a report that she had slapped a local man. An arrest affidavit says on December 28th, at 12:50 a.m., police were called to a residence on 15th Street for a reported dispute. The affidavit says police received a second call from a man involved in the dispute, while they were en route. After arriving, the man at the location said Katie Goertzen, 24, had slapped him across the face, which Goertzen admitted to, says the affidavit. During the arrest, police say the found two pipes containing meth and marijuana residue, in addition to a bag of crystal meth in Goertzen's possession, says the affidavit. Goertzen was jailed, and is charged with two counts of felony meth possession, 3rd degree assault, as well as an infraction for possession of marijuana.
