Columbus Sex Offender Found guilty of Violating Registry a Second Time

COLUMBUS - A Columbus sex offender was found guilty Wednesday of violating the Sex Offender Registry for the second time, since his 2010 conviction. Juan Pablo Gutierrez, 31, was found guilty of violating the sex offender registry for the second time on Wednesday, with a previous conviction in 2014, says court records.  Gutierrez plead guilty to lying about his place of residence, phone number, and place of employment, says court records. Gutierrez is charged with a class 3A felony, which carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison, with no minimum sentence. Gutierrez was convicted of sexual assaulting a minor in Platte County in 2010, says the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry.
